Editions Heimdal - The Heimdal publishing house is located in Bayeux in the heart of a region with a rich historical past, world famous both for the conquests of William of Normandy, immortalized by the famous tapestry, and for the no less famous D- Day whose landing beaches are nearby. Founded in 1975 by Georges Bernage, a graduate of the Faculty of History and passionate about archeology, Heimdal today offers a wide range of books from antiquity to the modern world which make it a key player in French historical publishing. Associated with these journals is the publication of military and aviation history books, mainly about World War II.
