FRENCH LANGUAGE BOOK. The Tiger, lord of the Panzers, and yet poorly known. A machine, too quickly completed, and yet a reputation as a Teutonic knight. A contradictory machine that combines the power and precision of a gun equipped with more than efficient sighting optics, and reliability defects, strong constraints in its maintenance and deficiencies in its mobility. To understand the Tiger, you have to look elsewhere than in its mechanics and meet its crew, know its origin, master its workings in every detail. This machine cut its teeth in the deserts of Africa and the steps of Kalmuck, it haunted the forests of the Vosges, passing through the Normandy bocage and agonized in a devastated Berlin. This book deals with all the aspects of this tank and thus makes it possible to understand precisely the reasons for its success and its fame.
