Development of the protected Bandvagn (Bv) 206 S, successor to the world-famous Bv 206 D, began in the late 1980s. At the beginning of the 1990s, the German Armed Forces began to take an interest in the vehicle. Since 1985, its predecessor, the Bv 206 D Husky was used very successfully, but the German Army was looking for a protected vehicle to close a gap in the range of vehicles and capabilities of its airborne forces. Consequently the Bundeswehr ordered 31 Bv 206 S.
Mobile Medical Team (MMT) Vehicles in 2002. Four of these were later converted to Mobile Evacuation Physician Team (MEPT) Vehicles. 75 of the Bv 206 S Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) variant were purchased in 2004, followed by 81 Bv 206 S Command Post Vehicles in 2005. To date, 189 “transport vehicles, light armoured, air-transportable in C-160 tactical cargo aircraft, Bv 206 S” have been procured by the Bundeswehr. This publication shows the entire vehicle range for the first time in detail.

UK STANDARD DELIVERY
Once items are placed in your basket, the website will calculate the delivery charge for your order. A standard delivery charge is applied to the majority of UK post codes, but remote areas and islands may incur a higher charge. We aim to deliver your order within 5-7 days, delivery times stated are an indication only, we often find deliveries are much quicker than estimated.
We use Tracked services for ALL of our UK orders.

Where available Priority Plus is offered to UK orders at checkout.
Priority orders are prioritised throughout the dispatch process, picked first and sent via RM24 Tracked. Royal Mail do not guarantee delivery times, but orders placed this way tend to arrive substantially quicker than standard.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
Once items are placed in your basket, the website will calculate the delivery charge for your order, dependent on country, and any surcharges we would be charged within the UK at the point of despatch. This does not include any charges made in the country of delivery at the time of delivery. We aim to deliver your order within the delivery times stated, Europe 7-10 days, Worldwide, 15-20 days, these are provided as an indication only, we often find deliveries are much quicker than estimated.
