The Great Patriotic War was a terrible military conflict. By the autumn of 1941 the Red Army was about to be defeated at the gates of Moscow although it could get over the situation. Until the spring of 1942 the armament factories had been relocated far away from the battlefront, allowing for unstoppable increase of the production and formation of new military units. Both the combat tactics and the staff training improved and, at the same time, the design of armoured fighting vehicles evolved outstandingly. As a result and thanks to the massive use of the armoured forces in all battlefields, in May 1945 the Soviet Union rode to a crushing victory against the Germans. This book provides a general view on the military operations from the invasion of the USSR to the defeat of the Third Reich and focuses on the evolution of the Soviet armoured units. The authors discuss the organisation and equipment of these units, different models of armoured fighting vehicles and the evolution of their design.

UK STANDARD DELIVERY
Once items are placed in your basket, the website will calculate the delivery charge for your order. A standard delivery charge is applied to the majority of UK post codes, but remote areas and islands may incur a higher charge. We aim to deliver your order within 5-7 days, delivery times stated are an indication only, we often find deliveries are much quicker than estimated.

Where available Priority Plus is offered to UK orders at checkout.
Priority orders are prioritised throughout the dispatch process, picked first and sent via RM24 Tracked. Royal Mail do not guarantee delivery times, but orders placed this way tend to arrive substantially quicker than standard.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
Once items are placed in your basket, the website will calculate the delivery charge for your order, dependent on country, and any surcharges we would be charged within the UK at the point of despatch. This does not include any charges made in the country of delivery at the time of delivery. We aim to deliver your order within the delivery times stated, Europe 7-10 days, Worldwide, 15-20 days, these are provided as an indication only, we often find deliveries are much quicker than estimated.
