FRENCH Language book. A book we have been acclaimed for, finally available again in 2025! (First edition 2009). The Union Française escort series, very well designed for its time, innovated in terms of new weapons technology, propulsion, and habitability (air conditioning, bunks, etc.). These were excellent ships for their seafaring and military qualities. These vessels unfortunately suffered from their distance from mainland France and their thirty-plus years spent on the world's seas. Eight years of meticulous work have allowed the two authors to provide us with a technical, lively, and human account.
