FRENCH LANGUAGE book. This book is an illustrated account of the history of this mechanized cavalry unit, from the First World War, through the 1930s as a reserve unit of the National Guard, and then during the Second World War when it was mobilised. The 117th Cavalry briefly visited England in 1942 and landed in North Africa. There, it provided close protection to Eisenhower and then Churchill before leaving for Italy and the spring offensives of 1944. Landing in Provence, the cavalrymen moved up the Rhône Valley before confronting the Panzers at Montelimar and Montrevel. They then crossed the Vosges Mountains and Alsace, and encountered the counteroffensive of the winter of 1944-1945. Entering Germany and then Austria, they participated in the major battles in the heart of the Reich.

UK STANDARD DELIVERY

Where available Priority Plus is offered to UK orders at checkout.
Priority orders are prioritised throughout the dispatch process, picked first and sent via RM24 Tracked. Royal Mail do not guarantee delivery times, but orders placed this way tend to arrive substantially quicker than standard.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
Once items are placed in your basket, the website will calculate the delivery charge for your order, dependent on country, and any surcharges we would be charged within the UK at the point of despatch. This does not include any charges made in the country of delivery at the time of delivery. We aim to deliver your order within the delivery times stated, Europe 7-10 days, Worldwide, 15-20 days, these are provided as an indication only, we often find deliveries are much quicker than estimated.
