LIMITED EDITION Profile book by Claes Sundin. This is a comprehensive collection of Eastern Front German fighter aircraft. The book will offer the reader an understanding and appreciation how the Luftwaffe's men and machines responded to the evolution of air combat over the 1941-1945 period from the first days of Operation Barbarossa to unconditional capitulation in May 1945. This story is presented through text and profiles of the different types of fighter aircraft operated by the Luftwaffe reflecting the elaborate and evolving camouflage schemes and colours, theatre markings, pilots' personal and victory markings, and insignias used by the different Geschwaders, Gruppen and Staffeln.
This is a fat book including 230 high quality German fighter aircraft profiles and a reflect of the authors best work to date. Of the 230 profiles included there are 30 all new profile subjects and the others from my previously published Profile Books all updated, improved and corrected where necessary. This book is produced as a LIMITED EDITION print-run.
