French Language Book. Resulting from a request from the French army, the AML Panhard dominated the arms market in the 1970s by becoming the preferred combat vehicle of African countries for twenty years. The AML and all its variants have been in service in fifty-two countries and still serves in several countries today. This book pays tribute to an already legendary weapon which contributed significantly to the defence of French interests as well as to numerous distant operations in Africa and Lebanon.
