In this book, David Fletcher and David Willey trace the history of this armoured vehicle, focusing on its development and production, as well as the role it played during the Second World War. The book focuses on Tiger "131" at the Tank Museum in Bovington, UK, the only Tiger I in the world to have been restored to operational condition. Using this example, the authors precisely explain the conditions of acquisition, ownership, and use of this powerful fighting vehicle. They also describe the details of the recent complete dismantling and rebuilding of Tiger "131" and its Maybach engine. This unique account of the Tiger's maintenance and operation is illustrated with a wealth of photographs and text written by a team of specialists from the Tank Museum. The book also includes testimonies and recollections from German crews who saw this tank through combat.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
