Payment Methods

We accept payment using any credit card bearing the Visa or Mastercard logo, or any debit card bearing a Maestro, Solo or Visa Delta logo. Your card is charged only when an invoice is being processed and your order (full or part) is ready to despatch. No payment is taken before the goods are ready to despatch although a pre-authorisation request will be made on receipt of your order.

We accept sterling cheques drawn on a UK bank and UK Post Office postal orders - made payable to: - Aviation Book Centre.

Trading Policy

Whilst we endeavour to keep stock of all advertised books, regrettably books may still appear on our website when they are out of stock and out of print and therefore cannot be supplied. We attempt to keep the website as up to date as possible however, few publishers notify us that their titles are out of print and we cannot, therefore, guarantee that a book being advertised on our website is still available. Customers are welcome to telephone or email to confirm availability.

Your automated email confirmation is not a guarantee that the goods are currently in stock.

We aim to despatch orders within 2-3 working days from receipt from receipt of your order.

Damages and Errors

Whilst we try to provide a perfect service, there are occasions when incorrect books are sent in error. We endeavour to send out books in pristine condition. Should you receive the incorrect book, or should your package be damaged in some way, please notify us as soon as possible so we can rectify the matter.

In the event that you are required to return the goods we will re-imburse you the cost of returning them by the most economic method available. For example, UK customers are requested to use second class post if possible, overseas customers are requested to use surface mail.

Customers are requested to package the items well as we cannot accept damaged returns.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Stock Availability and Prices

Many of the titles we stock are imported from Europe and the rest of the World and can be subject to erratic supply depending on the country of origin.

Prices may be subject to change due to the fluctuation in exchange rates, shipping costs and publisher price variations so regrettably we cannot always honour our published prices.

Cancellations

Customers may cancel their order at any time and provided the order has not been despatched a full refund will be authorised. If however, the goods have already been despatched, items will need to be returned. Provided they are received in perfect condition a full refund for the cost of the books only will be authorised.
