This book covers the history of the Design bureau and which started life in 1927 with Yakovlev's first aircraft, the two-seat AIR-1. This was followed by a successful series of Yak aircraft, the most recent of which being the Yak-130 trainer which was selected by the Russian Air Force in 2002.
