Well illustrated book which celebrates the history of Bahrain's involvement in military and civil aviation. The author draws on a wide range of Bahraini sources and UK archives, and photographer Katsuhiko Tokunga provides a series of dramatic images of aircraft in action in Bahrain today. The book covers Bahrain's role as a staging post in the development of long distance air travel in the 1920s, it's role during World War II, the activities of the post-war British air bases, the formation of the Royal Bahraini Air Force in 1976, and the RBAF's role in the Gulf War of 1991.

Once items are placed in your basket, the website will calculate the delivery charge for your order, dependent on country, and any surcharges we would be charged within the UK at the point of despatch. This does not include any charges made in the country of delivery at the time of delivery.  We aim to deliver your order within the delivery times stated, Europe 7-10 days, Worldwide, 15-20 days, these are provided as an indication only, we often find deliveries are much quicker than estimated.
