Superbly illustrated volume that pays tribute to the 315 personnel who lost their lives while serving at 22 OTU during WWII. This volume chronicles events from January 1943 onwards which includes other eras of the airfield's history circa 1950/60, when Wellesbourne was host to the RAFs number 3 Glider Training School, School of Photography and Education, the Airfield Construction Branch and the Number 9 advanced Flying Training School in addition to the official re-opening of the airfield on 13 March 1981. Volume 1 (00425AVI) covers the period 1940-1942
