This work focuses on a select piece of history largely forgotten. During WWII, Ireland remained neutral although this did not prevent the regular flights into Irish airspace by Luftwaffe and Allied aircraft. The Irish Air Corp was not well equipped to intercept these over flights so clues to crashed Allied and Luftwaffe planes were either wreckage or bodies being washed up. This book contains only losses verified by the author thanks to contact with surviving Luftwaffe veterans or other avenues of research.
