This series is dedicated to preserving America's aviation history. Each book's specification is dictated by the individual aircraft's own history and includes the aircraft's development and testing, squadron histories, insignias, flight and maintenance manual excerpts, sea stories, where applicable, and model reviews. Also included are views from inside the aircraft and prototypes some of which got no further than the drawing board.
