Commissioned on 3 June 1920 this was arguably one of the most under-celebrated battleships in the history of the U.S. Navy. Present at Pearl Harbour, the Battle of Surigao Strait, 24-25 October 1944 the USS Tennessee survived WWII and served until she was decommissioned on 14 February 1947.
